Roger is a Professor at Stanford, Yale, and Northwestern; his speciality was Artificial Intelligence focussing on natural language processing, models of human memory and learning; when AI got killed by over-promising and his kids went to school (a deadly combination) He decided to use what he learned about learning in a different venue
